MOUNT VERNON – Cornell senior defender Ilsa Jeffery has been selected to compete in the NCAA Division III Senior All-Star Game this weekend, coordinated by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
 
Jeffery is among 21 players representing the Blue All-Stars, coached by Allegheny College's Jessica Smith. They'll play the White All-Stars at 9 a.m. (Central time) Saturday on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md.
 
Saturday's lineup includes the Division I game at 11:30 a.m. and the Division II contest at 2 p.m.
 
Jeffery was a three-time first team all-conference performer for coach Meredith Meier's Rams. She accounted for a team-high 38 caused turnovers and 60 ground balls this spring.
 
Jeffery left her mark as the program's all-time leader with 141 caused turnovers while starting 61 games. She finished second on Cornell's career list with 208 ground balls.
