Box Score 2 ORLANDO, Fla. - Cornell's men's tennis team continued their spring break match schedule in Florida on Sunday, splitting a pair of duals. The Rams fell to Piedmont University 7-0, before bouncing back to a 7-0 win of their own over Illinois Valley Community College.

Drew Campbell pulled off a big win in tiebreak fashion 7-6(4). The Lions captured the other two doubles matches by 6-1 scores.
Piedmont won all six singles matches in straight sets to close out the meet.
Cornell bounced back nicely against Illinois Valley in the second match of the day. Singles was contested first, and the Rams took advantage capturing all six spots in straight sets. Henry Lambley, Campbell, Gavin Collyott, Matthew Oshiro, Benett Gregor and Eric Dirksmeyer were all winners.
On the doubles court, Cornell secured all three spots including a 6-0 shut out at No. 1 by Devore and Saunders. Sam Cumicek & Oshiro as well as Dirksmeyer & Gregor battled back from deficits to take 7-5 and 6-3 victories.
Coming up - The Rams play a double header tomorrow against University of Northwestern (MN) and Carthage College.
