MOUNT VERNON – Cornell's volleyball program placed four student-athletes on the
2025 NCAA Division III Academic All-District Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
Senior libero
Ella Becker (psychological sciences/kinesiology) earned the distinction for the third consecutive season, while junior defensive specialist
Kensie Staats (business management/marketing and communications) was honored for the second time.

Mia Tubbs (finance) also represented the Rams for combined excellence on the court and in the classroom.
To be eligible for all-academic recognition, the nominee must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 and have competed in 90 percent of the institution's contests OR started at least 66 percent of the institution's contests.
The CSC Academic All-America Teams will be announced Jan. 13.
Cornell's quartet guided the team to another championship season, claiming Midwest Conference regular-season and tournament titles while earning an NCAA Tournament berth for the fifth year in a row. The Rams finished 19-11 overall, 8-0 in the MWC.
