DECORAH – First-year
Graciela Juarez earned a top-three finish to lead Cornell's women's wrestling team at Saturday's Luther Open.
Juarez finished third in the 145-pound division with a 3-1 record. She tallied three falls in the tournament, including a quick pin in 19 seconds over Southeastern Community College's Koryn Klein in the third-place match.
First-year
Sidney Zimmerman also placed for the Rams, taking sixth at 180 pounds. She won her opening match by fall in 1:07.
The Rams had 13 individuals compete in the tournament.
